the job...

Our client in Wimbledon village is the proud owner of this magnificent magnolia in her back garden. This is the first time our London tree surgeons have worked on this tree which hadn€™t been pruned for three years.  In order to contain the growth of the crown and to allow more light into the garden we pruned, thinned and shaped the canopy and our client was very happy with the result and said she would be very happy for us to repeat the exercise in two years time to maintain the effect.

About Crown Reduction

When our London tree surgeons perform a tree crown reduction they ensures that all the branches are cut back to a suitable length and back to a suitable growth point. The entire crown is thereby reduced in size and volume but maintains a pleasing shape in line with the natural profile for the species.

"We used Toby to cut back a tree from a neighbour’s garden that was hitting our roof. Toby approached the neighbour and as we live in a conservation area took care of the legalities before commencing work. "
