the job...

For this Silver Birch tree reduction we were asked by our London client to reduce the tree as it was causing a nuisance to the neighbour.

As it is a weeping Silver Birch tree, we were restricted as to how much that we could remove, as it is important to retain the natural growth habit of the tree.

So through a combination of a reduction, crown lifting and crown thinning our tree surgeons were able to increase the light into the garden, while limiting the debris and also retaining the natural form of the tree.

On this page you can view photos of the crown reduction before and after it took place.

If your neighbour is unhappy with your overgrown tree and you live in South West London, give us a call by clicking above. We will be happy to give you a free quote for the work you need.

About Crown Reduction

When our London tree surgeons perform a tree crown reduction they ensure that all the branches are cut back to a suitable length and back to a suitable growth point. The entire crown is thereby reduced in size and volume but maintains a pleasing shape in line with the natural profile for the species.

"Toby did a very good job, not only with trimming a tree and ivy that were abandoned and out of control, but also with leaving the house clean and all my neighbours happy."
