the job...

This sycamore tree in New Malden (KT3) near Wimbledon had become excessively large, and our client was concerned that it may cause damage to the cars in the neighbouring car park.

Our Kingston tree surgeons were able to perform a 25% crown reduction and a 20% crown thin to reduce the size of the tree and the sail area to limit the chance of limb failure and also the amount of debris and leaf litter that it may drop.

These works also allowed a great deal of more light into our client’s garden.

If you are based in South West London and a tree in your garden is substantially overgrown, don’t worry, we can help.

About Crown Thinning and Cleaning

Thinning the tree’s crown will also include the removal of any crossed or suppressed branches and also the removal of any dead wood. The material left should contribute to an even crown in terms of density. This process will also limit the chances of future dead branches making the trees safer in urban London gardens.

"We have two precious trees in our small London garden. Toby clearly knew all about them and how best to prune and shape them. He did a beautiful job."
