Our Clapham tree surgery customer based in Wandsworth asked our London-based tree surgeons to reduce this small eucalyptus tree in their small London garden. From the before and after photos it is possible to see what a difference these works have made to the light in the garden.
The tree had not been very well pruned in the past and it was necessary to tidy the old wounds, remove pegs and clear out necessary growth prior to reducing the growth that was approbating to leave. This crown cleaning has the effect of reducing the rate of regrowth and prolonging the effect of the reduction.
The client should be able to enjoy the extra light in the garden for at least two years before this vigorous species of tree will need our attention again.
