Our client in Wandsworth asked our tree surgeons to thin the crown and lift the crowns of these six fastigiate lime trees.
These crown lift tree surgery works had the effect of allowing more light into the area, limiting the debris that was falling on the parked cars and also avoiding the regrowth that a full crown reduction would have promoted.
Due to the natural form of the trees, we had to consider the effect of the works on the appearance of these trees and their future growth.
We advised and our client agreed that lifting and thinning the crowns would have the desired effect whilst leaving the trees as an aesthetic feature of the area in the short and long term.

Thinning the tree’s crown will also include the removal of any crossed or suppressed branches and also the removal of any dead wood.
