the job...

Our Customer in Clapham, Wandsworth asked our London based Tree surgeons to reduce this small eucalyptus tree in their small London garden. From the before and after photos it is possible to see what a different these works have made to the light in the garden. The tree had not been very well pruned in the past and it was necessary to tidy the old wounds, remove pegs and clear out necessary growth prior to reducing the growth that was approbate to leave. This crown cleaning has the effect of reducing the rate of regrowth and prolonging the effect of the reduction. The client should be able to enjoy the extra light in the garden for at least two years before this vigorous species of tree will need out attention again.

About Crown Reduction

When our London tree surgeons perform a tree crown reduction they ensures that all the branches are cut back to a suitable length and back to a suitable growth point. The entire crown is thereby reduced in size and volume but maintains a pleasing shape in line with the natural profile for the species.

"We used Toby to cut back a tree from a neighbour’s garden that was hitting our roof. Toby approached the neighbour and as we live in a conservation area took care of the legalities before commencing work. "
